The Seeds We Plant 🌱

 The Seeds We Plant 🌱

INTRODUCTION

We all plant seeds in our gardens, hoping the seed will grow strong and healthy and bloom into the image we envision.

Each of us has a different idea of what the seed is to bloom into;

A degree

A promotion in the office

Social Media Growth

Financial dependence

A healthy family

No matter what success looks like, we all go through planting seeds (the resources, efforts, determination, education, and sacrifices) to achieve it.

That makes us like gardeners - caring, watering and investing in the growth of our efforts.

Days turn into weeks, weeks into months, months into years.

'Seeds don't bloom overnight.'

And like gardeners, we realize that seeds take time to bloom and grow.

The planting process is slow, and we do not always see immediate or visible results.

The human mind wavers - a storm of doubts, fear and guilt planted in our heads.

Questioning whether all this effort is worth it.

Why Gardeners Plant Seeds💦

Why do we seem to chase self-improvement, growth and success?

For the aesthetic?

For the attention of people around us?

Yes, that could be a factor that influences the chase.

But, most people are unsatisfied with their current life or catch a glimpse of an unwanted and sad life they fear.

Insecurity

Poverty

Dissatisfaction.

This unfulfilling life does not give you the peace you seek.

No one wants to stay in soil that does not nourish them.

No one wants to be stuck in the same place forever.

No one wants to remain stagnant for years.

Human nature is curious, and we want to explore what kind of life the world has for us.

The dreams,

Careers,

People

And relationships out there waiting, searching and looking for us to embrace and cherish.

And so, we take our first step—the act of planting a seed.

The roots of the seed are born and the journey for growth begin

The Seeds Of Doubt🌱

The seed has taken its roots at last!

Oh no! - More awaits you on this journey.

Human's patience is thin.

Seeds take time to crack open and grow their first sprout.

And this waiting process is the hardest part of the journey.

You planted the seed, but there is no sign of progress.

Therefore, seeds of doubt are planted in the garden - unknowingly or not.

'What if it never grows?'

'Am I doing enough? Should I be doing more?'

Once doubt takes root, it spreads like weeds, threatening to destroy your garden.

Your time for leisure and rest feels like a failure.

Your time spent eating, sleeping, or simply taking a break feels like you're moving backwards instead of forward.

Your dreams seem to be slipping away.

Your Seed Has Taken Root 🌱

The fact that you planted the seed means you've already begun growing.

Many people get stuck in procrastination, the planning phase, or waiting for the 'perfect' time.

Look and observe.

The tallest, strongest and most magnificent trees around us all began as tiny saplings.

It took years for them to grow into the towering forms we admire today.

Growth takes time, patience, and care—like your journey.

The feeling of fear and doubt is indeed inevitable.

But that waiting process comes with experience and lessons - lessons that no book can truly teach.

Every step forwardwhether learning a new skill, pursuing a career, or exploring a hobby—is growth.

Every step backwards contributes to your growth and experience.

It equips you with the ability to be resilient towards any setbacks.

Trust that your seed is growing, even if you cannot see results right away.

Focus on learning from the process instead of rushing the outcome.

And your seeds will blossom someday!

Tasks to carry out

Write down one seed you have planted (a goal, habit, or aspiration).

Identify what "watering" this seed looks like (actions you need to take).
